Thank God It’s Sunday (T.G.I.S.). This weekend I was (about 7 hours south) in Charlotte North Carolina, visiting one of my mentor’s crib. His crib was amazing, his lifestyle was amazing, his family were amazing, his kids were amazing, his vision for  his future is amazing. I was stretched the whole time that I spent with my mentors. He retired at the age of 26, eleven years later he and his wife are still FREE!

This trip was very important to me in that it gave me something to look forward to. The reason I say this is because at one point my mentor’s life was all a dream waiting to happen, but now it’s reality. This reassures me that my time will soon come if I don’t stop dreaming and taking the necessary action to achieve the dream. God is no respecter of persons, meaning if he made something happen for someone else, surely he can do the same for me.

My mind is still trying to understand all the knowledge that was shared this weekend, but one thing I took away from this visit is that we make things a lot harder than it should be. We focus on the “how” too much instead of the “why.” I think if you can figure out “why” you need to accomplish your dreams, then it will be a lot easier to figure out the “how.”
